Successful Underwater Photography with Digital Camera Systems

This course is the logical selection for the individual that has moved into the use of a digital cameras system other than the point shoot models or would like to use their digital camera system outside of the automatic exposure or shooting modes. This curriculum addresses digital SLR systems, higher megapixel systems and the nuances, techniques, and skills that individuals must understand to maximize the features of these more complex systems. The systems and information in the course will primarily address housed cameras with external strobe options.

This is an ideal course for the advanced beginner or intermediate user with an elementary understanding of digital cameras. It is recommended but not required that individuals have taken the Elements of Successful Underwater Photography course or Introduction to Digital Underwater Photography as both these courses provide a great foundation for this course. It is recommended that this course be taken in unison with Intermediate Workflow and Digital Image Manipulation for Underwater Photography for the complete understanding of the advantages and challenges of digital underwater photography.
